Facebook, Twitter Gets Record Posts For Super Bowl 49

    Facebook Inc. (FB: Quote) and Twitter Inc. (TWTR: Quote) has revealed a record number of posts from football fans on both the social networks during the Super Bowl 49 game between Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.

    According to Facebook, about 65 million people discussed the Super Bowl on the Facebook, which resulted in around 265 million posts, comments, and likes. The social networking site said the game was the most-talked-about Super Bowl on Facebook ever.

    Meanwhile, Twitter also said that Super Bowl 49 was the most tweeted Super Bowl ever, breaking last year's game. Over 28.4 million global Tweets containing terms related to the game and halftime show were sent on the site.
