Keeping in spirit with the hairstyle topic, what kind of facial hair are you rocking at the moment? I got the Deron Williams style goatee going right now, but I either rock that or the 5 O'Clock Shadow.
Dwyane Wade look. Thin nice moustache with the goatee connecting. I take good care of my facial hair. I always keep my chin hair and my moustache. At times I would grow out my beard and line it up like, Alonzo Mourning or Corey Maggette (last season), or line it up like...Lloyd Banks.
Well, in terms of NBA players, the style is kinda like Deron Williams', but my face is not as round as his is. I look really wierd without the chin thing and I ALWAYS have it. If I don't shave, I usually have a 2 day stubble growing...however I have to shave it after the 2nd or 3rd day otherwise it starts looking thick, which is annoying. Chicks dig stubbles though, they just don't dig when it starts getting darker lol.
Got a chinstrap-type thing goin on right now, I'm gonna shave it though along with cutting my hair, gonna start off the new year with a more clean cut look.

I've had a goatee for the better part of 2 years now, and occasionally grow out the sideburns a bit. Even more infrequently, I go with a moustache/goat look, but I don't particularly like it...the things we do for teh poon
Had a short goatee and sideburn/beard strap since 16 years old. Now it is longer, but not too much as I have to think about getting a good job since I've been told by a few people that having too long of facial hair will prevent you from getting a good one. I didn't believe it at first, but then two people that were hiring said the same thing that they wouldn't hire me because of that. You can see my facial hair style in the Biarritz thread since I posted a recent pic there.
I talked a lawyer about it years ago, she said that some work places have the right to not hire you based on hair length be it on the top of your head or face. I found that pathetic, but what can you do? I need the cash.

Either way you are right and it is a joke.
I've been sportin the soul patch for the past few weeks. I've tried not shaving for 2 weeks but my face gets so itchy. Especially when I try to sleep. My beard keeps rubbing on the pillow.
During the NHL Playoffs every year (depending if the Buffalo Sabres are in) I never shave until they're knocked out of the cup contention. If they win this year I won't shave until a week after the celebrations.
