With 30 seconds left in their Indoor Football League game against the Kent Predators, the Fairbanks Grizzlies seemed to yell, “April Fool’s!” Fairbanks trailed 30-24 in the fourth quarter, and with time running off the clock, quarterback Ryan Ratekin stepped up and threw a seven-yard pass to Eric Taylor who dodged two defenders before sprinting into the right side of the end zone. Rett Thibodeaux’s extra point pulled the rug out from under the Predators and handed the Grizzlies their third-straight win, 31-30.
