I have one cat that I adopted and the other has calico markings. The female calico has the best personality and I love her dearly. Post away on family pets!
I am owned by 3 cats, Orlando, Rudy and Margot. Rudy and Margot are the kittens of Orlando's sister. They were all feral born, but at 5 months Orlando walked up to me in my garden and informed me he was moving in (no other way to describe it). I was then living with a very senior cat, Rosalind, who has since used up her 9th life at nearly 21 years. Orlando's two sisters did not want taming but I put out food for them. One vanished, the other showed up with a litter. I realized I'd be feeding 20 cats if I didn't stop the reproduction so I trapped them all. Feral females who have had kittens won't ever tame, so I had Mama spayed and vaccinated, made up a bed for her in the garden shed while she recovered, then let her go. Two kittens remained. All three of my cats are convinced Orlando is the mom. To the point that, after they were separated from their mother, he let them suckle. The vet said Orlando was the only male cat he'd ever seen with an infected mammary gland. The two gray cats are Orlando (big) and Rudy (little). They are inseparable. The Siamese is Margot.
Yeah, I've never seen two cats so inseparable as Orlando and Rudy. I lived with a pair of sisters. They played together and cuddled at times but were not joined at the hip as Orlando and Rudy are. They sleep with their paws around each other. They eat from the same bowl, trading bites. They get upset if away from each other for too long (like an hour). When Rudy was younger, he'd sleep in the garden and Orlando would sit alert by him, watching over Rudy. Orlando hunts and gives Rudy prey he catches. So yes, they are as far as anyone can tell, a pair of gay cats.
I 'rescued' my pitbull from an abusive home (North East Portland) and has been my best dog I've ever owned. A pitbull with personality, also loves cats.
