A class action suit has been filed against the Seattle Sonics on behalf of season ticket holders with regard to the Emerald Club offer which guaranteed three years of fixed ticket prices for them if they purchased season tickets for the 07-08 season. Recent statements by ownership indicate that they "didn't buy the team to keep it in Seattle," coupled with their recent actions to request shortening 3 year suite lease contracts to a single year, and requesting arbitration to get out of their current lease indicate that the Emerald Club offer was not made in good faith.</p>
