Here's a great article on fantasy football from ESPN.com. It turns out that Jake Plummer isn't much of a fantasy football fan.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"I think it's ruined the game, actually," said Plummer, recently replaced as starter by rookie Jay Cutler. "There are no true fans anymore, because if I lose a game I come out of Invesco Field and there's not a Denver fan mad that I lost, but happy because I threw three TDs. When I was growing up, I was a fan of my team, not the points I'm getting.</div>
My favorite part of that quote is when Jake talks about throwing three TDs. Jake throwing three TDs? In one game? That's a good one, Jake! (Someone might want to sit Jake down and explain to him why Jay Cutler is starting this week.)

LOL, I think Jake is just trying to vent on something due to his Benching! LOL, that is hillarious, Im always extremely down and dissapointed when the Packers lose, but if my Fantasy team wins it makes me a little less down in the dumps, not much though, but my fantasy team has only won 1 more game than the Packers this year so yeah that tells were im at emotionally right now lol.

I don't know about your league, but I'm pretty sure Plummer went undrafted in my main league.

This is why I don't bet on the 'phins. I even let Beef & Dale have any phins player when the 3 of us were in a fantasy league together. Too much stress.

I am not participating in a FFL this year & have enjoyed this NFL season more than when I have.

naa not for me fantasy football doesnt really get in my way too much. Even for money leagues i'm a team first guy. If the Jets lose i'm pissed and if my fantasy team wins because Pennington threw 2 TDs then watever we still lost. Honestly it doesnt get to me with the Jets. Now if i'm watching other teams then its completely different i root for the guys on my team.

Yeah, I feel the same way too. I usually watch the Ravens games but since I have been participating in FF Leagues, I really watched other games and payed attension to them rather than the score. But I'll always be a Ravens first fan. It really showed when they played the Chargers and I had LT on the team. Though I wouldn't mind if he had better stats, I wanted him to be shut out and I'd rather have bragging rights about how my real team (Baltimore) beat another team than if my fantasy team beat another fantasy team.
