He looks so depressed behind those sun glasses. Shannon is taking his spot. I think we'll bury him on the bench or trade him soon. :]
You only live once. :] Maybe all those endorsements he has is getting him through this? He's been in a bunch already for some reason I think. :O
Well if it lowers his stress level, maybe it'll help him make some free throws and finish around the rim.
Maybe it'll also help him make open 3's. Wait, if that's the case, Sasha should try it too. Maybe he'll be useful again.
Jordan made Day 3 of the Poker Tournament http://www.cardplayer.com/poker-news/7163-jordan-farmar-from-the-nba-to-the-wsop This is his first poker tournament as well. *ego growing* If the season started tomorrow he would shoot the ball 20 times.
the main event is $10,000 buy in. it's not like he's throwing tons of money away here relative to what he makes and with him being in the tournament so long thus far, being famous, and thus very likely to appear on tv, i bet he'll be able to make it all back through endorsements.
It's nice being a Laker isn't it? If he was on any other team nobody would give a shit about him. All these endorsements he gets, the commercial spots in Adidas commercials only adds fuel to his ego. smh
no, i don't really think it has anything to do with being on the lakers. just being an nba player in general(even better that he went to a big basketball school) is enough. when a celebrity of some sort lasts that long, all the poker sites will be willing to pay them some money to wear a patch or some gear because they are guaranteed some tv time. same thing happens with the last women remaining. at this point, all the women left in the field are bound to be wearing some poker site's gear with the site hoping that woman will be one of the final ones remaining and thus be guaranteed to be shown several times on tv wearing the site's logo.
Oh my bad, I misunderstood your post. Thought you meant he would get more endorsements elsewhere. Still cannot believe how he got major facetime in Adidas commercial with multiple NBA Allstars. smh
He got in an adidas ad? >_< Oh yeah, he's surprisingly good. He's already ranked 25. He should just quit basketball and give LA some cap relief to go play poker.
Yeah, I know. It was said in ocregister that he was ranked 25. Crazy high when his day job is being a bbal player.
he isn't ranked 25th. there may have been a point in which he was 25th in chips at the tournament, but that's basically meaningless early on in the main event with 6500 people playing and it being a several day event.
