Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality

It's not really just fast food that does this. I've noticed the picture for all food always looks better than the real thing.

 

I remember watching something on TV that showed how they did foods for commercials. Like they used frozen turkeys and paint them brown(something to that effect). To sum it up, a lot of the stuff they use and do effects wise is fake and imitation. And not the actual food placed in front of you when you eat.

 

If they did a Quiznoes one, it would be the exact same.

 

It depends on who makes it.. The Subway here has sandwiches looking like that, and the BK here doesn't have Whoppers like that. McDonald's shows what their Big Mac looks like accurately in TV commercials I've seen. It shows it thin and lettuce everywhere... They don't make it look nice.

But from that it is exactly the size, sometimes bigger depending on what is on it.I have found that when you have the Mexicans who barely know English they make a much better and bigger and better wrapped burrito than the kid in HS or white manager.
