After the loss to the Lakers: There are really, really signs of fatigue," Billups said. "It's not having enough energy to take it to the basket and take that pounding. Instead, it's taking the shots that might be halfway open." Cause for concerN? If Billups is hitting the wall now, do they get him some rest? Or do they keep pushing for the best record and risk wearing him out? If I was coach, i would go with Plan A. Question is WHO will spot him for 20 minutes a game?
I think they should start Tony Delk next game, he has a 53 point game under his belt so he is more than capable of starting for us, also we have a 4 day break, then another 2 or 3 after that which would give Chauncey 7 days off.
I said this in the breaking chicagos record thread that now that they have the east wrapped up Flip needs to conserve his superstars minutes because there are obvious signs of fatigue.
