What are some of your favorite seasonal beers?

As I have gotten older, coors light just doesnt do anything for me anymore. So i have ventured out to a bunch of different beers.

I'm not an ipa guy or high ibu guy.

I love Lemon Shandy from shock top in the summer. Hefe shandy is good too.

Love 10 barrel brewing and Hub. Totally radler has minimal alcohol but is delicious.

Just bought a beer tonight by Shiner. Its a cold brew coffee ale. It is fucking delicious. If you like cold brew, go buy it now. It was around $10 at Fred Meyers.

    I can't stand shandys.

Don't really have a seasonal I like I guess, summer fall and winter beers suck. Is there a spring beer?

Dead Guy is a beer for all seasons. I too have lost my taste for hoppy beers but Heater Allen makes a nice pilsner. Too, McMenamin's Purple Haze is really tasty when you can find it. And finally, Commons Urban Farmhouse Ale is really good. Kind of a "rustic" style for lack of a better description.......

Dude, if you like Purple Haze, ask for a "Purpetrator". It's like the Rubinator, but w/the Purple Haze beer.. Very tasty.

Good call on the purple haze. I usually get a rubberhead at mcmenamins. But i will have to try a purpetrator next time i can.

Those red washers off the porcelain Grolsch caps make great strap-locks, have on all my guitars.

My favorite beer is probably scrimshaw pilsner from north coast brewing co.

German, Belgian beers. I like fancy lagers. Not much of a dark or thick beer fan, the opposite of my penis predilection.

I do enjoy a fruity lambic occasionally though.

Do you ever wander over to Prost! in N. Portland? They have a great selection of German/Belgian bier, AND they also fill up the boots. ;) Love that place.
