    I thought if he didn't do the surgery then it'd mean he wasn't going to be coming back...I think he is definately going to retire,..,

    His wife wants him to have the surgery regardless, she says he's been complaining about his ankle for the last 3 years, this means nothing.

    If you RETIRE wouldn't you want the surgery?

    the article also says that no surgury means that hes skipping the surgury for the 7th straight year, i dont think it has any bearing on his deisicion. If he just doesnt wanna go through the trouble of surgury hes a tough guy he can live through it

    He hates surgery from all reports. He's skipped it every year and he continues to come back so skipping it again probably doesn't play a factor and I guess the rehab for this is tough.
