Did anyone know that Brett is just 22 interceptions away from breaking George Blanda's all time interception record (277)? If Favre comes back, I bet he can snag that record without making any deals to do it.

If Favre wants to surpass Blanda then fine.

I'd rather P. Manning break all of Marino's records anyway.

    WORD.... He's also 24 or 25 TD's from Marino's record...

Hmmm...what can we infer from all this? Favre throws the ball A LOT.

I'd rather see Peyton Manning disappear into a sea of mediocrity and never be heard from again... But hey, that's just me.

Manning needs to step it up in big games before I'd put him in the same league as Marino or Favre. Frankly I think Marino and Favre are in the top 5 for greatest QB's ever.

Manning's window could be closing... Indy had some great teams the past three or four years, but could never get it done. Now Edge is gone and Marvin Harrison isn't getting any younger...

The Patriots are on the decline now, too, but other teams that are capable of beating Indy are stepping up and taking their place.

Right now I think Eli Manning has a better shot at winning a ring than Peyton does.

Absolutely - look at the guys Marino had playing with him and look at the guys Manning has. Big difference.

but Defense wins championships... Look at the colts Defenses Prior to this year.. So 1 season with a solid D and not make it not so bad.. seriously u score 35 points a game doesn't mean anything if your D gives up 38

Marino never had a running game around him and I'm not sure but if I remember correctly the Dolphins D didn't strike fear into everyones eyes. I could be wrong though.. One of the Phin fans will verify.

Its true....the best RB he ever had, production wise, was Abdul-Jabbar, and that was well after his prime....early he had Tony Nathan, who was a dual threat in the Brian Westbrook mode, and its not a coincidence that thier best records occured in those years....they never had a good defense, but they had some average defenses....theres a reason that Marino threw for 60,000 yards and 420 TD and wasnt all about his arm....they never could run it...they never could stop anyone....they were constantly behind....another factor in it, that never gets any attention: In the "QB Draft" of 1983, every team in the AFC East drafted a QB in the 1st RD(and all 6 were drafted by AFC teams)and they all had good to great success(with 3 ending in the HOF)....instantly the division became a chuck and duck division....that contributed more than people realize....
