Brett Favre made a tackle. Never seen that before but he sure seemed happy doing it. The Panthers are still 5-0 against Vick. Because the Vick that they played one Sunday wasn't the Vick they are used to. The Vick they saw was a pocket QB Vick and not the scrambling QB Vick. Kyle Boller didn;t throw an interception in the game against the Texans and he did score a touchdown, a rushing one. But with all of those fumbles he's have, I'd guess those cancel out. Brad Johnson is 5-0 as a starter and most people have forgotten about the "Love Boat." Kerry Collins is not the future, they should get a new QB. I hope BF1 doesn't make a comment about Favre and his deals. Carson Palmer calls plays like Peyton does too. And now he claims the AFC North. Even though J.P Losman had a great game against Miami, they lost. The 49ers wished that Matt Leinhart didn't stay in school and drafted him, but instead they got Alex Smith. Charlie Frye made his first start and his two TD's was to another rookie, who eventually got injured. The Texans are in a touge situation even though they are 1-11. They either ditch Carr and get Matt Leinhart, or go for the Reggie Bush sweepstakes.
I think he meant they are still 0-5 against Vick, refering to yesterdays performance as being so unvick-like that it doesnt count
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheBeef)</div><div class='quotemain'>I think he meant they are still 0-5 against Vick, refering to yesterdays performance as being so unvick-like that it doesnt count</div> Oh, thanks for the correction. I was too busy thinking about the Brad Johnson part. The Panthers are 1-0 against the Pocket QB Vick and 0-5 against the Scrambling QB Vick.
I thought Sunday's performance was very Vick-like from a passing standpoint. Michael Vick is a crappy passer. He had a couple of good games and now he's returning to form.
Dolfdale stays true to form with his Vick-Bashing, he really is a bad passer. As soon as the heat comes on again he will have a decent couple of games and then just lose his way.

If your saying that I'm bashing Michael Vick just because he's Michael Vick, then your wrong. If Michael Vick could ever become a decent passer for a legitimate amount of time, then I would get off his back about his being called a quarterback. (I'm probably not going to let go of the Ron Mexico thing anytime this decade.) However, I would warn any Vickolytes about holding their breath while waiting for me to get off his back. Remember, I have HIGH standards. A legitimate amount of time to me means that Michael Vick needs to put together several good years, not several good games, before I'll consider him a quarterback.
Oh what a suprise Vick has a bad game and then everyone has too bash him but when he's playing very good no one says a word... I had a hunch that was going too happen.

There are so many media whores and Vickolytes standing in line to smooch Vick's hiney that they make the Black Friday crowds look like a meeting of the Joey Harrington fan club. I could stand in a shorter line to buy the latest Harry Potter book.

November passer rating for Mike Vick 102.6 @ Miami 228 yards passing 108.9 Green Bay 209 yards passing 99.2 Tampa 309 yards passing 86.6 @ Detroit 146 yards passing 7 touchdowns and 1 INT So 4 out of last 5 games were good passing performances. So I'm not sure how 2 out of his last 4 games weren't good. All you guys complain that he doesn't put up STATS. Well when he was putting up STATS you all were as quiet a mouse on this board about Mike Vick. Too bad the Falcons were 2-2 in November. If I were a Falcon fan I rather see the Mike Vick who can take off and run than the Mike Vick who sits in the pocket. He's more of a weapon on the move. What's so wrong with that???

Detroit, 146 yrds passing and 86.6 rating = not good. 39.1 rating vs carolina NOT EVEN DECENT. last 4 games actual totals 6 tds 3 ints. If you are going to post game logs for last 4 games, you might want to post ACTUAL last 4 games instead of picking the best 4 game stretch for your argument

If you read my post you would of noticed I said he played good which he did in 4 out of the last 5 games. That's #5. That's one more than 4... Read my post next time please. All of it if you want to make this a legit argument. My point is that Vick had a SOLID November and no one was saying anything about it because he was doing good. When he is doing bad you and dale a lot don't seem to let up. I just find that really funny... Also I'm looking for an answer too this question I posted in my last post but since you didn't read all of it you wouldn't know what it is now would you. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>If I were a Falcon fan I rather see the Mike Vick who can take off and run than the Mike Vick who sits in the pocket. Seems deceptive to me, but i will i give you benefit of doubt. If i am falcons fan, i want to see vick who can consistently make plays from pocket, because mobility is decreasing for him all the time. BTW, he has lower QB rating then last year, lowest YPA of career, isnt throwing for 200 yards a game, and has worst YPC of his career. He is fading away, from not much, to even less
What's so wrong about Mike Vick's play when the Falcons are winning? No one can seem to answer that question. You strolled away from it by bringing up passing stats. I'm sure with your next post your run away from it again. Everyone knows Vick isn't about his arm. He's about his legs. What's wrong with that as long as the Falcons are winning?

Is he not a major asset to that offense? You can't deny that. Whether it be with his legs like it usually is or his arm which is not as often he is a major weapon on that offense. I still didn't get a answer to this question. What is so wrong with the fact that Mike Vick is more of a threat with his legs rather than his arm? What's so bad about that as long as the team is winning.. Now I no he's not the only reason... but they're shouldn't be any denying that he's a major asset to that offense.

I am not saying it is a non-asset, it helps some, not a lot, but some. If he could throw ball as well as the good QBs out there, his mobility woudl be HUGE asset.
Vick is a good QB when he can run the ball. If u shut down his running game he becomes a crappy QB. Vick just couldnt step up and throw the ball. Vick isnt a good passer but when he can run he tremendous makes up for it. He can win a lot of games because he is a double threat. He just doesnt show that he is a good QB if he cant run. If he runs then the defense plays contain and that opens up the passing lanes

I can accept your opinion on that. I don't see how you can't consider him a huge asset to that team though. He clearly is . Much like Brain Urlacher is a big part of the Bears defense. Mike Vick is a big part of the Falcons offense. Both teams are having sucess. To me that is all that matters..
