    I second that.

Favre should have retired, this season will be no better than the last one.

I hate to say "I told you so," but..."I told you so."

Great news. And yes...I'm glad we can finally talk about something else.

It wasn't all his fault but some of it was, you could definatly see him simply heave a lot of Balls up for grabs later on in the season.

Some of it was definitely his fault. A WR doesn't make a bad throw, but Favre made his fair share. Sure, sometimes receivers need to help out more, but Favre has always been a gambler. It worked in his younger years but is starting to catch up with him.

I only hope that he doesn't tarnish his career with two unimpressive seasons to end what otherwise is an impressive history.

He did have some crazy thrown balls but some of the WRs stood there.

Physically he's still got it. Mentally I don't know so much. When I see him throw last year he never made stupid mistakes like that. There's a line between stupid and gambling and he broke it. He'd throw the ball up for grabs instead of throwing it away or hitting the check down. Course he was always a risk taker but nothing like last year. Last year was him making stupid mistakes. If he tones that down and we can run the ball Green Bay will be better off. If takes on the pressure to much, then he'll have another poor season. Right now I think this is about a 6-10 team.

Yeah, the only thing slower than his retirement decisions, will be his decisions on the field this year. SACK!!! This will be first year he misses a game due to injury

I disagree with that. Perhaps he gets hurt, perhaps he doesn't but Favre has always been a guy to take a risk and throw the ball up for grabs and take a sack. I much rather have him take a sack or dump it to the check down and than turn the ball over though.
