Favre has been around for a very long time, and its now the 15th or 16th season he's going into. This guy is unstopable in the sence of playing a career of 209 games and starting his milestone from Green Bay in '93 by starting every single one for an incredible 205 games. No one can say he isn't a good QB. He has lasted a long time and I'm sure he has lasted a fair few heavy tackles and sacks, but the question is will 2005-2006 be his last season in the NFL or will he continue?Let me know what you guys think.Personally I hope he stretches this season out to start every game, coz it'll be a very good achievement from such an athlete.
Bret Favre is a great QB and has a gun even at his age, but its just that, his age. He is past his prime and can't throw as far, though he can still throw far. And the Packers dont have the right pieces to make any type of run at the SB either. I think Favre should rap it up after this season.
Brilliant Player and a Future HOF without a Doubt, i hope this is not his last season but got a feeling it may well be, thats why they drafted the rookie QB i reckon
he's defanatly a HOF a legand but Bret's time is over he needs to get out before he starts fading. Retire while he's still good. Oh and he's defanatly not going to go out on a ring pack arn't that good this year.
What a great player, a shoe-in for the 'HOF', no doubt. He has had an amazing career, and was always a treat to watch.I think this will more than likely be his last year though, sad to see him go.
I wouldnt mind him winning the Superbowl if the Jets dont get there!Would be nice to see him go out that way
I hope favre can go out winning a super bowl like elway did cause it just adds the topping to a great carear and final season.
i think that this could be his carear year just for the fact that he wants to win and he trained alot this off season.
I think this is his last year. His thoughts aren't even focused on football right now, and it will be hard for him to even concentrate on football this year with his family being affected by the hurricane. Didn't look to sharp on opening night. I think that be the end of the season he'll be OK, but this is going to take a huge toll on him mentally.
I think this will be his last year because he has enough money to last him the rest of his life and i think he should retire before he starts looking like a bad QB and everyone forgets how good he was in his early seasons. He should definetly retire this year and hopefully get in th HOF.
I bet he makes it to the playoffs and will be a tough NFC competitor.Favre may have some other things going on but he did not forget who he isHe wants a SB before he retires like Elway, don't forget what he's capable of.hes a legend, he will retire in glory, not out of despair.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I think this will be his last year. He has a horrible O-line and he's going to be killed this year.</div>wow dude, you really have alot of faith in your QB
It has nothing to do with having faith in my QB. Green Bay's O-line sucks whether your a fan or not its a fact
Well Flanagan isnt that bad...But yeah there Oline sucksand Favre hopefully retires, he's caused enough hell for the Vikings, and hes defintely a shoe in for HOF. And this is coming from a vikings fan
People are over playing Favre's decline, he still throws too many INT's but he's hitting 65% of his recievers. Hopfully he sticks around next season.
I hope this is his last year. I respect the man and all, but he's a Packer, and as a Bears and Vikings fan I hate the Packers.
