<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nevada basketball team is starting to look to the future after finishing the season with a 25-7 record, and that future is going to include Nick Fazekas next season.

Fazekas, a 6-foot-11 sophomore who was the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year, had been scouted by NBA teams all season and that pursuit had intensified in the last three weeks.

He started making plans for next season after the Wolf Pack?s 71-59 NCAA Tournament second-round loss to No. 1 Illinois at the RCA Dome Saturday.

?I?ll be back at Nevada for next year for sure,? Fazekas said.

Before the tournament Fazekas had said he wasn?t certain if he would be ready to go to the NBA early after this season. Fazekas, who averaged 20 points this season, got his answer in the tournament as he was held to 11 points by Illinois after being held to 10 in Nevada?s 61-57 first-round win over Texas on Thursday.

?It hurts me, probably a lot, the NBA seeing I?m not ready to play at the top level yet,? said Fazekas, who was a combined 8-of-34 from the field in the two tournament games.</div> Source
