    I guess we shouldn't be surprised that the guy who is a very conservative politician in Russia, friends with Putin, and a prominent member of the Moscow Patriarchate is reluctant to espouse gender equality. Obviously this goes deeper than just women in fighting given his comments about preserving femininity.

    I think this will be disappointing news for many MMA fans including Ronda Rousey who has expressed admiration for Emelianenko in the past.
