The Dallas Cowboys expect Felix Jones to return Sunday after a four-game absence, but not as the team's primary running back. Owner/general manager Jerry Jones indicated during a radio appearance Tuesday that rookie DeMarco Murray, who has been a dominant force while Felix Jones was sidelined with a high ankle sprain, would continue to get the bulk of the carries.
I think that is wise. I think this plan will keep Felix healthy so he'll be able to stay on the field and in the long run get more runs than he otherwise would. I wonder if they can get both of them on the field at the same time. I would think that would be very tough on the defense to cover. It would give us a lot of options, not only in the running game, but in the passing game as well.
Just found this subforum today. Murray has shown flashs of brillance and an ability to stay up after a hit, something jones has problems with. I like the idea of lining Jones up on the side and using him like manning used Adai so often.
