Nov 7 - The MRI suggests Raymond Felton will be A-OK. At least, he should be with some rest and a heavy dose of anti-inflammatories.

The Charlotte Bobcats had a major scare in their 115-83 home loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. With about three minutes left in the third quarter, point guard Felton tripped over the Suns' Steve Nash, injuring his left knee.

"He's (in) that top 99 percent of guys we can't afford to lose,'' said small forward Gerald Wallace. "We can't even afford to have him banged up. That's how important he is to this team." -- Charlotte Observer

[*]Coach Sam Vincent had perhaps the answer that summed up the franchise's sentiments when asked what the Bobcats would do if Felton is sidelined for an extended period of time.

"I don't have an answer for that right now," said Vincent, whose team plays against tonight at Philadelphia. "I just hope that's not the case."

Vincent's hopes were realized but not until just after 11 p.m. Tuesday night when medical tests cleared Felton to travel with the team for tonight's game, where he's considered a game-time decision. -- Gaston Gazette
