I have a friend who works for Manchester United, he's told me (off the record, may I add) that if United win the Premiership and either the Champions' league or FA cup, that Sir Alex will step down as manager in the summer. He would like to go out on a high and the two aformentioned achievements would be the incentive he needs to finally step down. So, should United manage this and big Alex step down, who will take over? Dowie? I hope Mr. Dowie does take over, I would have to laugh! But still, things could change this summer.. Thoughts?
