I know we've go a lot o guys here, and it may be very difficult to get everyone to draft at the same time (even 16 guys may be tough). I've got a big league, also, and what we did is set up dummy leagues in Yahoo just for doing the draft. That way, it's a setup where everyone can see who's been taken, and if guys can't make the draft time, they can prerank their players and still get the draft done. Then, the rosters are transferred to whoever's software we're going to use. So, just have 2 guys set up a dummy league apiece, then email the league ID and password to everyone in that conference, then the conferences can work amongst themselves to figure out a reasonable draft time.

Just thought I'd add this as it's something I've done in my big league, and it seems like it just might work...

So far, we have 21. We ideally could use 3 or 7 more. It was my impression that Steelerfan has software so we did not need Yahoo.

Being unfamilar w/ the software, I like using Yahoo just to keep track of all picks.

It appears that most want a weeknight evening for the draft. 2 or 3 prefer the weekend.

I was going to wait until I got home from work tomorrow (Monday 8/16) before getting the total number of particiapnts & setting up the conferences.

Any questions or comments, please let Steelerfan or myself know. Any hot stock tips can be directed my way.

I'm also co-running a big league (40 teams) and we were also going to do a draft outside of yahoo, but then all the problems added up...

1)commish has to be present for every draft to mark down picks
2)commish or someone else has to keep track of picks to make sure nobody's picked twice
3)no matter what time the draft is, it's likely a couple of people won't make it, so with Yahoo (or any other draft site) you can have an autopick draft

Once the draft is done, it would be very easy to transfer the rosters to SF's software, and run the league through there...
