Great mock draft except I highly doubt that Jay Cutler will drop down to #17. I dunno about the Cardinals drafting VY, i just don't see it. Other than this it's a really good mock you done. Nice job bro.

    Re: FGore21's Mock Draft v2.6

I'd move 9, 8, and 7 down then put 6 where 9 was [IMG].6 - Alex Smith needs Serious help, Vernon Davis is a freak of nature. He's faster than wide receivers, bigger than wide receivers... He's definetely make things easier for Smith. 7 - The have no depth on the defensive line, Warren Sapp is already old and getting older, and they lost Ted Washington... Ngata will basically be the 300+lbs replacing Ted Washington.8 - ... the Bills offensive line sux (plain and simple).9 - The Lions don't have someone at safety who can make plays. Kennoy Kennedy is physical, but has no coverage skills at all. Terrence Holt... is just ok. Also, Michael Huff could play Cornerback with that kind of speed. Dre Bly is great, but after him you have Fernando Bryant getting injured all the time, the loss of Andre Goodman, and I can't even name the other corners.14 - While it's a possibility that they'd want a power running back(White), I doubt they take a RB right here. They don't have much of a set of receivers, Brown is a #2, Pinkston is soft (what other receivers do they have?) Also, they lost Kieth Adams and Dhani Jones is coming off a bad season, so Ernie Sims would make sense.18 - The Cowboys are set at OLB, they drafted like 3 OLB's last season and they all are doing good (especially Ware). If they drafted a LB, it would be a middle since Dat retired. However, there is no MLB in the draft worth this pick. I would say the Boys get Santonio Holmes or Chad Jackson right here. Even though they have T.O, he is 30 years old. Terry Glenn is also over 30. Then after that, all they have is Patrick Crayton. They need more youth and depth. Another pick that would make sense here is a free safety. Keith Davis is more of a strongsafety, he doesn't have good coverage skills. And that doesn't go well with Roy Williams who plays close to the line. So Jason Allen, Donte Whitner, Ko Simpson, or Daniel Bullocks would make sense. But since 4 great FS's might still be here, there is a chance they could snag one with their second round pick.22 - ... The Broncos getting Maroney would be just like getting another Tatum Bell... Their defensive line is solid... but they lack a playmaker inside... Tamba Hali sounds good. Or they can grab one of them good FS's to replace Lynch after retirement, or move Lynch to SS.^ damn... I should make my own mock draft... ;)Anyway, I was just being extra. But your mock does make sense, mostly. All of the picks are at least a possibility.

I think the Rams would take Jimmy Williams over Tye Hill. Both would be fine in my mind though.

    Re: FGore21's Mock Draft v2.6

Finally they update the NFLDC one. I really like our picks in that too! Get a great CB in round 1, a very good TE in round 2, and a pretty good DE in round 3. All positions we REALLY need.I like their over/underrated thing. Jay Cutler is definitely overrated.#24 on the sleeper list is a p.i.m.p.

I won't critisize other than to say that there is a reason mock's shouldn't be done between the opening day of Free Agency and the week leading up to the draft. They are, of course, just for fun in the in between time.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Nebkreb @ Mar 28 2006, 07:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>i like the Jets one in there too1 - Dbrick1b - Bobby Carpenter2 - Nick Mangold3 - Ryan ocallaghan (OT)</div>I'd rather have Trueblood, considering O'Callaghan suffered mutliple injuries in his career and Trueblood, for the most part, has been solid.Lol, but this would piss off Venom and his love of Adrian Jones.

i dont really know Ocallaghan, so w/eand i like Adrian Jones too, but DBrick sounds like a nice franchise tackle to me, and he can play both tackle spots, so we can move him wherever A Jones is less comfortable

O'Callaghan would make a nice RT if he could stay healthy, but he's had at the very least a minor injury every year of his college career. Trueblood is almost as good, and has had an overall healthy career. I'll take the health over the talent. What good is a little but of extra talent if it's only on the field 3/4 of the games?

Alston would be a reach for the colts at the bottom of the second round, at the bottom of the first? never gonna happen.

He is rocketing up draft boards and is perfect for their scheme. He is a small, speedy Linebacker.

no sorry, he is not a first rounder. Over chad greenway? there are so many other OLB's that are much better.
