wow tough call. Had to go with Guida/Griffin. Guida deserves a raise from the UFC next contract regardless of this win/loss because he brings it every time.. and Dana says that what he wants. I love watching Guida fight dude is fearless.

Guida/Huerta and Diaz/Gomi were great fights too as was Chuck vs Wand.

Surprise of the year has to go to Griffith/Shogun.. I mean did anyone really think Forrest would win?!!?

I voted for Griffin/Guida as well. 2007 was the year of the lightweights. So many good fights.

I can't wait for BJ to polish off Joe Stevenson so we can see if he can beat Sherk.. I don't believe Sherk would be dumb enough to juice, but hey I could be wrong. I still think he's too strong for anyone to submit and he's too good of a wrestler and can take down any striker who's good enough to beat him.
    He's a beast at 155 IMO.

Strangely, the Griffin/Guida fight is getting no respect right now on the "Best Of" lists.

uhh it's GSP as in George St. Pierre [IMG] [IMG]

and GSP VS Serra has to be near the top for upset of the year along with Gomi vs Diaz.

I voted for this one Roger Huerta d. Clay Guida. Guida is a maniac in the ring he fights with mad heart.

Pete Sell v. Scott Smith was a great finish.

Even more exciting than a boxing double-knockout, I reckon. Drago has had some tough luck in the UFC but that one takes the cake.

Maybe Jorge? Like Jorge Gurgel... you pronounce that just like George, instead of saying hore-hay. Easy mistake.

Anyways, 2007 was the year of the lightweights, for shizzle.
