He slows them down, they can be more effective running the break without him...Of course, he DOES ADD a threat in the low post, and a great defender, but they are real good even with him on the bench...But with Georgetown and Hibbert, I don't get that impression...So, basically just talk final four ball here!

Re: Final Four '07 Thread Well, I am happy and sad at the same time. I'm happy that Ohio State is going to win this game because I picked them to win it all, and I want to win money in my pool (I am currently winning it too), and I'm also happy for Oden and Conley individually, because I love both of them. I am sad for obvious reasons. I'm a big Georgetown fan, it sucks to see my team get kicked out. It also sucks that this may be Hibbert and Green's last game in blue/gray.

Re: Final Four '07 Thread It was supposed to be a battle of the big men, but consistent foul trouble held the Oden vs. Hibbert matchup down. Near the end it became a pretty fast paced game. Hibbert was the more impressive big man however limited floor time stopped him from helping the Hoyas go to the national champion. Jeff Green was the demise of Georgetown. He is the best player on the squad and he decided to take a back seat on the scoring. This can't happen, if you're the lead guy on the squad you have to take an active role on offense. The end of Georgetown's great season. Tip for UCLA - Florida is at 8:47.

Re: Final Four '07 Thread Florida 29 UCLA 23 At the half. So far UCLA has been struck by foul trouble which has left Mata and Affalo on the bench leaving Shipp to do all the scoring. Brewer has gone off for 15 pts, how long can he carry the team for though? I'm going to say that UCLA takes this once Affalo gets back in.

Re: Final Four '07 Thread Florida 76 UCLA 66 Well, Aaron Affolo was completely shut down by Brewer, Humphries exploded for three after three, Joakim Noah had a great second half and UCLA fell way behind. Affolo turned it on in the last 3 minutes but didn't have enough time to get his team back in it. It's going to be a football nation championship re-match. I predicted the national championship perfectly but I think that Florida will pull through for the championship (I have OSU going all the way, regreat that now). Florida's roster works very well together and are defeniteely talented enough to repeat.

Re: Final Four '07 Thread Meh...I was rooting for the Hoyas, and Bruins...so, meh, disappointing FF for me.Oh well, I hope OSU wins now in the champ. game, but I probably wont even wathc most of it.The play where they called the "blocking" foul on I believe it was green when oden went in for the monster dunk...ruined the game.
