The game has started and we are leading 9-4 with seven minutes left in the first quarter. This is a huge game for us because a win and a Wizards loss against the Pacers tonight would mean we end up with the seventh seed and take on either the Cavaliers or Bulls in the playoffs rather than the Pistons. We have had success against both Chicago and Cleveland but Detroit has our number and we've been unable to stop them all year. The Heat on the other hand, have nothing to play for since they already have the Southeast division title and can't move up or slip down in the standings no matter what happens tonight. Because of this, both Shaq and Wade aren't playing which is good for Orlando. So far, we've been trying to work the ball to Dwight down low against Mourning and Haslem. Hopefully we can keep this up and win, get a Pacers win over the Wizards, and play a beatable team in the playoffs. Cross your fingers Magic fans!
We killed the Heat tonight! Such a good game, seeing all the unselfishness, Redick draining back-to-back 3's and did you see him jump so high for that offensive rebound?! Glad we could end the regular season on a high note. Time to watch the scoreboard! Edit: Jameer just said this in a post-game interview - "We can beat any team in a seven game series, you can quote that." I like the confidence, he may be right too, we've been really great as of late.
