I'm glad he's gone, TBH. I'm not going to lie, he was great for this organization and I respect everything he has done, but there was always the sense of feeling that he was never close with his teammates. He's a very quiet individual and he never really took that leadership role and ran with it. You never read reports that he was out with his teammates, never read reports of him stepping up in the locker room, never read reports of teammates going to him for advice. Tomlinson, to me, was like a young Kobe Bryant. All about himself--he never grew out of that stage, like Kobe did. When he left the organization he threw dirt on them...and now when his ex-teammates speak up, now he wants to take the high road? Good luck in NY, LT. I guarantee you that most Charger fans are glad he is gone. We drafted a kid with great potential to fill his spot and this gives the leadership role to Rivers 100%. Maybe it is just the homerism in me, but I feel the Chargers are going to be a better team without LT.
He's a douche. He lost a step...well, more like 3 steps... and he still thinks he's a feature back. I hope he fails miserably in NY.
