The starting four all-star caliber players are playing well together on the court,

and they are surpassing the cavs.

This lineup is the only solution to solve the problem that the Nets have right now.

At least, the opponets see four names of the jerneys would be scared much more.

The next good way, Kidd, Carter, Jefferson, Sean Williams, Magloire. is way much better than Big 3 + Allen + Collins.

Magloire is really a tough guy. He always shows the toughness at grabbing rebounds.

    Magloire! nice hook shot !

Magloire ! Nice dunk off the dribble !

Magloire ! Nice pass to Gill for three !

In fact, I don't mind to watch Magloire + Allen + Big 3.

because Allen is a good outside shooter.

    7 points 7 rebounds 2 assists 1 block in 20 minutes.

I don't think we should waste the 4 millions for a guy to guard Gatorade off the bench.

Magloire is a tough guy, how could you give him 6 straight DNP ?

Where is the weakness that the Nets have right now? Of course, It's in the paint.

He didn't play really well while Vince Carterwas out, so you have to try to play him while Big three are all healthy.

Kidd, Carter, RJ, Magloire is really a good squad. You just need to play Sean Williams to help to block the shots, and

Malik Allen to shoot the ball from outside, then this team could compete for ECF.

    So the conclusion is...

If you have a coach doesn't know how to play by the rosters, you must rebuild.

If you have a good knows how to playby the rosters, you can compete for the ECF.

    That's the big diffrence.

Didn't see the game, but the Kidd-Carter-RJ-Allen-Magloire group played well statistically; they were +7 in two short stints. Again, as I've said, I prefer that Magloire play when one of the big three is resting so the Nets can have another (at least mediocre) offensive threat on the court. Since Collins IS going to play, I prefer that he play with the big three, when his poor offense won't be as glaring a weakness. [that actually happened for about a minute in the second quarter, when RJ rested] Keep in mind that the big three are only on the court together for 15-25 minutes a night, and I'd only have Collins playing with them for the low end of that range. In comparison to the Magloire group, the Kidd-Carter-RJ-Allen-Collins combo was +5 in about 13.5 minutes.

As a side note, I was wondering why the Nets left RJ in the game in the fourth quarter, when they were up by 20, but then I realised THEY HAVE NO CHOICE. With Wright out, they don't have enough healthy perimeter players to remove the big three simultaneously! Then they shocked me by removing RJ and playing Gill-Nachbar (!)-Allen(!!)-Boone-Magloire to finish the game. What a pathetic lineup, but there was no choice. Wright better be back soon, or they'll be screwed.

Kevin Pittnogle would be as good as Nachbar at this point. A guy who plays no defense and can hit a there-pointer every now and then. I really hope he's moved to a team that wants his expiring contract.
