Finals of 2004 highest rating in three years

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2004...tory?id=1823433 its not that hard to believe imo this was the best matchup in the last couple of years it brought back the excitment of the bad boys vs show time era and the great matchup of defense vs offense. There were also so many stories inside the finals. Can phil win 10 titles? Can larry get his first title? What wins defense or offense? will payton and malone win a title? So many minny plots helped make this finals great.

    It's good to see the ratings go up. But not only did the playoff ratings go up, the whole seaons of basketball on TNT,ESPN, and ABC had higher ratings.

    Great, thats true although the result was less great. Overall this season was more tense cause the eastern teams stepped up, like pacers and pistons

    I thought the Lakers would win easily, to be honest. It is good to see the rating up again, hopefully we will have another great finals next year!
