Just to have some fun, should the Mavs have just kept Finley? Despite his defensive defiences and decrease in skill, he seems like a better starter then Griffin. Were still paying his contract, so it doesn't matter.

Right now, it appears Griffin is the better role player, I think Dallas may actually get over the hump this season, despite the loss last night to the Spurs they seem to be playing very well this year. I've never seen Jerry Stackhouse contribute to a team like this, he wore out his welcome in every city he's ever played in. They've got depth...As for Finley, him and Dallas had to move in another direction...Finley definately was a key part in the turn around of that franchise but overall I'd say it was time for him to get out of there, I'd take Griffin right now.

No because Finley doesn't usually play that way. His stats for the year are career lows and Griffin is blending well with the mavs. One game doesn't change anything. It was also a road game.

I'm talking whole season. Griff is a liability on offense, and with Diop a liability as well, it hurts.

Well if that is the case Daniels should be starting. I don't understand why Avery is forgetting about Marquis. The guy has had a good year. Finley has been a liability on offense for most of the season as well with an occassional hot streak.

^ your right marquis is a good player and hes constantly on the bench, Avery needs to find a way to get him off the bench and play him more. hes capable of a lot, he showed that 2 yrs ago vs. the kings in the playoffs

Also, Quis should have been in more last night, he could have created matchup problems with the Spurs, because Griff killed us on some plays. Their leaving him open, and he came up with nothing.I disagree with Fin, he's a guy whose adjusting to the bench and it's hard to come in and light it up. He's still money for open shots.
