This will greatly benifit the Titans IMO. Hill hasn't lived up to expectations at all this season and Finnegan has been playing great when he's gotten the chance.

Hill is pathetic. There's no way he should EVER be a starting cornerback in the NFL. I can't think of any other team where he'd even make the roster, much less start.Anything is better than Hill.

Did you watch the game vs. the Eagles? HE shut down every reciever that he played man-to-man on. Finnegan is a huge upgrade over Hill. And IMO Lowry will be a big upgrade over Thompson if he ever takes his spot.

Here's a blurb from the postgame press conference:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>(on CB Cortland Finnegan?s play and getting a second look for a starting role)(Reynaldo Hill) is our starter. He comes back this week and doesn?t have any problems with his ankle, Rey will be back in the lineup. Good part about it is that (Cortland Finnegan) has not played a lot of corner(back), he?s been our nickel(back), he was our nickel(back) throughout most of the preseason. One week?s preparation time, (and he) shows what he is capable of doing. He?s aggressive, he can run, he can play the ball and he loves to play. He?s got a short memory, and he loves to play. It?s nice to know that we can lean on him when we need to in case there?s an injury.</div>How retarded. For those who don't know, Reynaldo Hill was a 7th round draft pick last year that worked his way into the starting lineup, got 3 GIFT interceptions, and has been starting ever since. Even though he gets totally burned every game...literally. Finnegan was a 7th round draft pick this year who has been our starting nickelback this year and has done an excellent job. He is like 5th on the team in tackles even though he's onl on the field for half the plays. To give you an idea of Titans fans' thoughts on the two, check out this thread from the TOMB (Titans Online Message Board):http://forums.titansonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20931Currently 72-0 in favor of Finnegan
