Sportswriter Dave D'Alessandro:Boston. Fire Doc Rivers? He has handed the offense over to two children, his team's best big has just had his appendix carved out, and the most valuable big off the bench is Michael Olowokandi. G'ahead, you try to coach that mess without conjuring up imaginative things to do with a razor blade.since most of you want to see Doc gone (insert Marvin Gaye joke here "I'll be doggone!"), do you still agree with Dave? Yes or no, and why?

But when was this article written, because if it was in the last day or two, then this guy doesn't get updated on the NBA:

    - Al Jefferson has been back for 4 games now and he's been playing well.
    - Kandi-Man is out.
    - He must not know about the stupid decisions Doc makes with lineups and minute distribution.

Doc does not give the players who need development minutes (Rondo, Green) consistant minutes.

    - Gerald Green, Saturday in Milwaukee, played 5 minutes in the 2nd quarter, shot 3-3 from mid-range and had 6 points. He didn't play another second in the game.
    - Last night, Gerald played 10 total minutes, got 5 points, 2 blocks, 3 rebounds, ran hard, hustled, made some good defensive plays. Only played about 2-3 minutes in the 2nd half.

    - He has fully taken Rajon Rondo out of the rotation because he "isn't an offensive threat." Maybe he can't shoot, Doc, but he makes things happen! He penetrats, GETS OTHERS INVOLVED offensively, pushes the ball more than Bassy or Delonte, plays better defense than them, and is a heady player.

Doc plays small-ball all the time. Friday, he had Paul Pierce guarding Eddy Curry and Wally Szczerbiak banging with David Lee.

17 seconds left last night, we are down 3, we need shooters right? Even our announcer, Tommy Heinsohn said that. Nope, he puts Kendrick Perkins and Sebastian Telfair out there... where is Delonte?

Doc has no offensive sets or plays.

He plays the starters nearly the entire 3rd quarter every night with no breaks in between... um... OF COURSE they are tired in the 4th, Doc!

I could rant on and on and on, but quite frankly - everybody knows the deal. Dave D-Allesandro obviously does not.
