Grossman has been playing worse than Orton did last year. Why are the Bears so scared to make a change?? Texas did it with Vince Young, who is doing good, the Cowlishboys did it with Romo, who is only the biggest sensation right now in the NFL.When the goal is to win the Super Bowl, you need a QB who can get you there. You can't just rely on the defense and Devin Hester to get you there. You need an offense, and right now, the offense is doing bad. And WRECKS can not just chuck it deep to BEARnard BEARian all game and hope Berrian uses his speed to blow everyone away. He can't keep doing it. And Ron Turner needs to improve the play calling. Smith needs to be canned for not getting on Turner's case. I don't understand why people think that winning games, divisions, and titles makes you a success. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN AUTOMATIC SUCCESS. Dusty Baker has 3 manager of the year titles. Is he a success?? NO!! Bob Brenly won a World Series ring. Is he a success?? NO!!Lovie Smith is not a good coach. ALL of this is on Urlacher and the defense and Devin Hester. I don't want this bullshit that he is from a defensive background. He is from the Tony Dungy tree, and at last check, Dungy is running a high-powered offense and a shitty defense. Lovie Smith has coached up one of the most dominant Defenses in the league, has one of the best Special Teams in the league, and a decent Offense. He has had a First round bye last season and will likely have Home Field Advantage this year, all the while while he turned around a perennial loser. He should be getting coach of the year consideration and not having people question his job security. Im sure this is heavily about his handleing of Grossman, but fact of the matter is that Kyle Orton was a worse Quarterback last year, and nobody has seen anything to make anybody think that he has gotten significantly better, and Brian Griese is nothing special himself. The backup Quarterbacks are a bunch of JAGs and I doubt the Bears would be significantly better with either of them. When the Bears have a competant backup Quarterback with some reason to think that they could be better then Rex Grossman, then it is time to bench him.....
