1. Miami Heat vs. 8. Nets or Cavs 4-1 HEAT 2. Detroit Pistons vs. 7. Philadelphia 76ers 4-2 76ERS 3. Boston Celtics vs. 6. Indiana Pacers 4-3 PACERS 4. Chicago Bulls vs. 5. Washington Wizards 4-3 BULLS 1 vs. 8 I think the Heat have too many options for both the cavs and the nets. I think the nets and the cavs can come away with at least one victory though. But in the end Shaq will be too much. Shaq always plays his best in the playoffs. By now I think C-webb will has jelled with the team and he will be more effective. If you have seen any recent sixers games you will see that he no longer settles for the mid to long range jump shot and he tries to attack the basket. The Sixers also have too many other threats. Detroit will take the first game in my opinion but they will only win one more game thereafter STAT LINE IVERSON: 28.3 ppg 10.2 apg 2.6 spg C-Webb: 22.7 ppg 9.6 rpg 3.9 apg Rip Hamilton: 21.4 ppg 5 rpg 4 apg Ben Wallace: 11.5 ppg 13 rpg 3 bpg 3 vs. 6 This will be a hard fought battle but the pacers back J. O'neal will be too much. This is just a coin flip. I think each team has an equal chance of winning. Also remember the pacers have Reggie Miller who can turn the game aroung when ever he ahas a hot hand. I think the first six games will be split. Then the seventh game will be a toss up. Im guessing the pacers will take it though STAT LINE J. O'neal: 23.2 ppg 10.5 rpg 2 bpg R. Miller: 16.6 ppg 2.8 apg 3.1 rpg P. Pierce: 25.4 ppg 3.9 apg 6.2 rpg A. Walker: 18.9 ppg 2.6 apg 9.9 rpg 4 vs. 5 Another hard fought battle and this also can go either way. But the Bulls are known to turn it on in the fourth quarter so I expect them to take it. Ben Gorden will leads the Bulls to victory. I do believe that Gilbert Arenas will have a great series but the way the bulls are playing drives me to think that they will win. I do believe that this series will go to a game seven but the bulls will take it. STAT LINE G. Arenas: 27.5 ppg 4.8 rpg 5.5 apg L. Hughes: 19.6 ppg 5 rpg 5 apg B. Gorden: 20.2 ppg 4 rpg 3 apg K. I am a huge bulls fan, and am cheering for them so bad, but isnt the interesting fact that no team has made it past the first round of the playoffs without their leading scored, which is eddy curry for the bulls gonna hurt them. i hope im so wrong and ur right
Ok I'm not going to pick you out for you thinking you can beat the Pistons (every fan can dream I guess) but these comments made be laugh <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> you have seen any recent sixers games you will see that he no longer settles for the mid to long range jump shot and he tries to attack the basket</div> Since when? I watched the Nets/Sixers game on sunday and all he did was shoot jumpshots. He shot the ball and bricked 70% of them each time he shot the ball. He has no lift in his jump shot, even less than he did in Sacramento. He never plays on the box, every offense the Sixers run he is hanging around the perimeter just waiting to get the ball and to shoot an 18 footer. There is no excuse for a 6'11 big man who has the body to play in the post and inside to shoot 38/39 % from the floor. He shoots a worse % than Iverson and he is a 6'0 guard who gets battered all over the place every night. That is the worse part. He simply isn't fitting in that well with Philly, JOB needs to actually coach and get Webb's ass on the block. I've seen him this year when he is posting up and he can be quite effective. You don't need to have ALOT of lift to be able to play in the post. Obviously you need some but not the amount many people think. Certainly not when you are 6'11. If Chris Webber hangs around shooting jump shots against the Pistons, his shooting % may be even worse. You have to make Rasheed at least try and guard you. Otherwise poor old Sammy D and Marc Jackson are going to get crushed by the Wallace brothers inside. Webber needs to make the rest if the Sixers life easier, not tougher <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Sixers also have too many other threats</div> such as? If the Sixers had so many options as you say why is Allen Iverson everytime I watch them play always looking frustrated and feeling like he is the only guy out there most of the time? That game on sunday Vs NJ was a prefect example of that. It was basically AI Vs the Nets. No one else decided to help him out and the rest of the Sixers looked very poor and that was against a team with no frontcourt. I can't imagine the frustration Iverson will feel when Tayshaun Prince will be in his face and then when he gets into the lane he has Ben and Sheed Wallace waiting for him. It won't be pretty at all. The Pistons are the worse kind of match-up for the Sixers but mainly Iverson. You are seting yourself up for dissapointment If you actually believe what you wrote in this east preview.
