Is Flint Town the name of a mental hospital? I was gonna say gay bar but they're off limits and I MIGHT get away with joking about the mentally ill. Probably not
Flint michigan is basically south chicago. It is not to be taken lightly. One of the most run down places ive ever been to. Edit: Sorry. I wasnt thinkijg when i posted this. I was thinking of Gary indiana. Ive never been to flint.
binged and finished this docuseries this past weekend, was released Friday. Follows the flint police for a few years through the flint water crisis and the police in general dealing with one of the most violent city’s in America while being way under staff. Also covers reactions to the philando castille shooting as well as the Dallas cops that were killed during the process of filming. Also deals with race issues and the police, I think it covers it the fairest I have seen from all sides considering there are a lot of black officers there. It’s a good mix and it’s well done and filmed. Definitely worth the watch whether you’re fond of the police or not. Makes you have even more respect for what these guys do and have to deal with on a daily basis
The place reminds me of Camden, NJ or Paterson, NJ or East Orange, NJ or Trenton, NJ or Newark, NJ and any others I left out.........
A single cop going to a burglary call in an old abandoned looking area with 3 foot tall grass everywhere. It would be impossible to truly be aware of your surroundings.
I actually have been to Flint....like in January of 1973. As I recall, it had a great deal more going for it back then.....which isn’t’ saying a damn frickin’ thing. Michigan is a beautiful state but they sure have some effed up towns.
