<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> ORLANDO - Chris Jent was dropped from the Orlando Magic's coaching search Thursday, and now the franchise might finally be coming close to hiring a successor with an extensive coaching background. Flip Saunders and Brian Hill appear to have emerged as frontrunners in the race to become the franchise's next head coach, after team officials informed Jent they were set on "hiring a veteran coach with experience." Saunders, Hill and Eric Musselman have interviewed for the position with general manager John Weisbrod, and further sessions with Magic owner Rich DeVos and team president Bob Vander Weide are likely next. Saunders, fired by Minnesota on Feb. 12, is the most attractive candidate on the coaching market after Phil Jackson. His Timberwolves teams won at least 50 games four times and reached the Western Conference Finals last season. Saunders is also reportedly being courted by Cleveland and Portland. If Saunders is hired, the Magic would hope he could do for Howard what he did for Kevin Garnett at Minnesota.</div> Source
I would like to get Flip becaue he has had success in the playoffs and has coached a young developing PF in Kevin Garnett. Maybe he could improve Dwight Howard's game and help us win. GO FLIP!
^ Yeah I agreed. I like Flip when he's with the Twolves and I think he was great over there. But because of Cassell and Spree, he's fired (that's the main reason!!!!!!!) and hopefully we're going to get him next season. D12 is having real bright future
