His inability to do so will cost the Wolves the division crown, which will cost KG the MVP honors. Look at coaches who know how to win....

    Don Nelson
....has a similar situation with Antoine Walker, and instead of playing him, he's limited his minutes. That's why he blew up at him. Nelson said that Walker was struggling, and instead of having him "play his way out of it" and possibly cost the Mavs seeding. Wally is obviously not there right now, and he needs to have his play limited for people who continually bring it. Hoiberg, Madsen, Hassell.

    Gregg Popavich
....when you have cassell killing you, you place your best defender (bowen) on him. Stoudmire deserved a taste of hassell, or basic 3 pt defense. remember when Person did the same thing when he was in Cleveland last year.

Your extremely observant because I logged on just to make a few comments that you already made.

!st off let me just make this statement Cassell got killed tonight, you cant really make any excuses for that.

But this is my observation of not just this game, but all the game since the timberwolves have had their complete roster.

Flip is playing way to many players, you cant play every player on your roster & expect people to get a feel for the game. Its like he use all 12 players to create like 24 different lineups during the course of a game. Key example the Big O doesnt step on the court until the late in the 3rd. How is he surpose to contribute anything?

These are the things he can do in my opinion to

Flip needs to start making some difficult chooses. He needs to decide between Wally & Fred Hoiberg. Trenton Hassell defense is needed so he has to stay apart of the main rotation. And Sprewell is the t-wolves second best all-around(O & D) player so you know he isnt going anywhere. So that leaves the options down to Hoiberg & Wally. You cant keep rotating 4 players at 2guard & SF. Shorten the rotation at those 2 positions down to 3 players. The 2 starters & one guy off the bench.

Next decision that needs to be made is the at the 4 spot. Gary trent or Mark Madsen. This is another position where they are playing to many players at one position. Flip needs to decide what he wants at the back up 4. If he wants defense & hustle go with Madsen, if he wants offense go with Trent. You cant keep spitting minutes between the 2 like Flip has been doing.

Decision #3- He has to choose which point guard he wants to give most of the minutes too. Its obvious the 2 point guard splitting minutes right down the middle just isnt working. Flip needs to decide because the point guard position is way too important to the timberwolves, to have guys struggling to get their rhythem from night to night like Hudson & Sam have been doing. The Timberwolves have alot of guys who can put the ball in the whole but they mostly all need someone to create the shot oppportunties for them. Wally & Hoiberg are spot up shooters. And Gary trent & Kandiman are finishers down low. They all need the PG to get them the ball in easy position to score without them having to do alot of creation on their own. Spree & KG can create their own shoot but during the times when they are struggling, they still need the pg to get them easier shots. Having a point guard that is in rhythem is extremely important to the t-wolves offense. So Flip's got to decide who going to be the guy Hudson or Cassell. And whoever doesnt get choosen has to be happy with playing limited minutes.

And Flip needs to make an addition to the lineup EJ needs to come back into the rotation as the back up center. He would add some resistence at the basket that the Timberwolves defense is lacking right now. Teams are a little to willing to penetrate the lanes right now. And its really hurting because Hudson, Cassell get beat off the dribble alot. When Mark Madsen plays at the center spot teams really go toward the basket alot more. Madsen works as the backup 4, but not at the backup 5.

Man, you should apply for a job in the coaching staff of the wolves! I'd love to see you there.

Flip has no clue how to run a deep rotation. He has never had this kind of team before, where there are good players all over the place. He doesn't know when to sub players in or out. He seems to keep Sprewell in there even when he is shooting 1-12 in the first quarter. But he will get used to it soon.(I hope)
