Michael Leighton came off the bench after Brian Boucher was injured and made 14 saves to complete the combined shutout on Monday night, leading Philadelphia to a 4-0 victory over the Boston Bruins and helping the Flyers avoid elimination in Game 5 of the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals. Boucher left after injuring his knee at the bottom of a pileup in the crease at 4:35 of the second period. Leighton, who had been the starter before he was injured on March 16, made his first career playoff appearance and finished off the first combined shutout in the Flyers' postseason history. Simon Gagne, who scored in overtime to win Game 4, scored two goals, and Ville Leino had a goal and an assist to help the Flyers force the series back to Philadelphia for a sixth game on Wednesday night. If they win, it's back to Boston for a decisive Game 7. The 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs and the 1975 New York Islanders are the only NHL teams to come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a best-of-seven playoff series. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=300510001
