I remember seeing it on NBA tv...he just turned around and swung...he didn't know who was there but he hit him pretty hard. Actually, he hit him very hard and destroyed his jaw which required surgery and Kermit was suspended for a long time and traded from the Lakers. I looked on youtube and couldn't find it.
