I don't think the option should be "are you being plugged or are you plugging", because I would bet most of us would rather not be plugged and if we had to (or was offered 100 million), we'd be the ones plugging.
ok, serious answer. If you are attempting to pose the old question, "For enough money that would forever chance your life, would you do -----?" You should use a base line that even the most civil in here would not so easily cross. For the most part, and I can not think of an exception in here, to deviate sexual preferances is by far too easy. In our mindset as a culture, sex is a private act, and anything we do in the dark can easily be put aside. An example that I would use to sepetare the man from the boys, so to speak, would be to ask if you would kill someone for ten million. That is an act that must be done in person, public or witnessed, and would be given full immunity. There is the question I would pose, of course you can tell me to shut the fuck up and answer yours..so, yeah, intellictualy, i believe I would do whatever Cam asked, I can reason that with enough money I can buy new body parts and a good shrink, physicaly being able...I dont know.
There is no amount of money in the world that would influence me to behave in a manner I would not otherwise behave. Over-the-top wealth is simply not attractive or even intriguing to me. I think it takes a simple mind and empty soul to be distracted by it.
Would you kill yourself for $100m? If you'd do that, then wouldn't you do just about anything for $100m, knowing you could kill yourself after? Ed O.
interesting question So, if you could ensure that generations of family (yeah, set up in a trust 100m could do that) Your wife, your children, their children and so on. Be remembered in perpetuem. To achieve this you had to forfeit you remaining few years? Yeah, thats a pretty easy choice for me (Elvis has left the building)
the thought of not having to slave until age 70 in order to retire comfortably is more distracting than necessarily having over-the-top wealth. i don't necessarily have a burning desire to be rich either, but if having gay sex once meant i could be free to travel and explore the world instead of staring at a computer for most of the rest of my life, i'd do it in an instant.
So you would do things you might otherwise find objectionable in order to obtain financial independence for yourself, but you wouldn't even consider ending your own life to provide financial independence for your family and descendants. Interesting...
I would guess its the everlasting life, thou shalt not kill thy self thing I believe in the christian god, if Jesus could die for me ( in my mind) self sacrifice does not seem to be a bad thing. And lets face it, this would not be the worst thing that I have ever done.
no i said i'd have gay sex once. i don't consider that a big deal. i wouldn't do anything i find morally objectionable, or that actually involved a much more extreme sacrifice of some kind. i do value being alive quite a bit. i'd give up my life for my child's life, but assuming he was otherwise able to take care of himself certainly not for his financial independence.
