Anyone who has been around football knows that the key to a great team in the NFL is you have to start by winning in the trenches. It doesn’t matter how good Maurice Jones-Drew bounces back from his foot injury if he has no space to run through when he gets the ball in his hands. Even Blaine Gabbert will benefit from a reliable o-line in front of him so he can feel more comfortable in the pocket.

Luckily for MJD, Gabbert and any other player that will line up for the Jaguar offense, the offensive line should be more reliable this season. Returning to the o-line are the two best that the Jags currently have in Left Tackle Eugene Monroe and Center Brad Meester. Meester who was a second round pick out of the University of Northern Iowa has been a solid rock in the middle of the offensive line for many years in Jacksonville.
