we had a school debate about this a few years back, and i was definitely against it. if you are against murder, there is no way you should be for abortion, because what it basically is, is killing babies. some people say that many people have abortions because they are too young to be a parent and ect., but then why did you have sex in the first place? the only part im a bit iffy about, is if, lets say a 15 year old gets raped, and gets pregnant. should she have an abortion? because its obvious that she is way to young to be a parent, and it wasnt her fault in the first place

In the sense of getting raped or something of that nature. Otherwise I don't think abortion should be allowed. Then again if your in the situation where you are going to be a 15 yr old father, you love abortion. Your only in favor of it, if it doesn't happen to you.

If these KIDS nowadays think they can do stuff and rely on abortion they need to think twice. I see 13-14 year olds pregnant and its just sad babies having babies. So i am against abortion.
I still am against it even if it is due to a rape now granted I would be a little more willing to accept it. There are still other options than abortion like adoption and/or giving it to another family member to raise.

Should she choose to want to have it then its ok. But just think if something like that happened to someone in your life and they didnt want it what would you tell them?
First of all, I don`t think like 60 year old politicians should vote if abortion should be banned or not. Second, I am for it. It all comes down to a woman`s choice. I`m just pro-choice.

I personally don't approve of it. But, as with the gay marriage issue, I don't think we have the right to take away people's right to choose. I am pro-choice as well.
Anybody that says "I'm against it, but I'm for it under this circumstance" is really just for it. You can't go both ways with it. Abortion will either be legal or illegal. If you feel as though its necessary in certain situations, then it has to stay legal.
for it, i think that the mother should choose. and btw, it isnt like women just go around having tons of sex and get abortions when they get pregnant. abortions are dangerous procedures that are extremely painful from what i hear. no one would ever want to get one imo.

The process of having a baby is expensive and extremely difficult, especially if it's a single mother who doesn't have any support network around her. There's so many kids available for adoption already, and agencies struggle to find a home for them, making adoption illegal would add to this problem. Adoption and having another family member willing to raise the child for you are great solutions, but it's not always an available option for a woman. The mother should always have the choice to decide.
If it is the mother's choice and she in between 12-18 do you think they should have parental consent?i say yes because maybe the family would help support before taking a life. To me a baby is a baby no matter at what stage it is

I say against.. Because if a womans chooses to be pregnant..She should think abuot the after-effects..on how she is going to raise her kid.. think before doing something..or otherwise pay the price.
I believe they should only legalize it in the case of rape...otherwise it should be banned. Although I am all for women's equality and rights...if you CHOOSE to have sex, you know what you're getting into, you know the consequences and everything. So thus, if the result is a baby, don't have an abortion...give birth to that baby and if you really feel like you can't handle it, perhaps hand over the responsibility to someone else until you are ready or leave it for adoption or something of that manner. Don't just kill an embryo because your choices came back to you...
I believe in pro-life, but if some women feel strongly about terminating the pregnancy, then they should have the right to take care of it early with the help of professionals with medical degrees. We don't want no desperation coathangers or drano being used to take care of the problem in the third trimester of pregnancy. I'm a man. As a man, I don't even know if I have the right to stand in the way of something that women go through practically alone. Child labor is a big deal especially if it's an unwed teenager mother or a rape victim or a woman whose health is at risk or some couple that can't afford to get pregnant because both parents need to work. A woman going through any one of those scenarios needs a lot of support, but often feels shame or is shamed by others who judge other people's actions so rigidly. I feel like women need to decide on the issue amongst themselves and pro-lifers/pro-choicers need to place themselves in each other shoes.
