Not for my sake of course. How would I live without my fantasy league next year? But for the Blazers, there is only one thing they can do to make a huge splash, a big difference:

    Get Greg Oden back.

Yes, I know, all caveats apply, but a healthy Greg is our best hope, and we can only get a healthy Greg if there is a lockout for a few months. Bringing him back mid-season would be much worse all around than everyone starting together in, say, January. Bonus - Roy has more time to rehab too.

Kind of a pathetic route, but its the best one as far as I can see.

Help us Greg won Oden, you're our only hope!

i'll root for a lockout, too, as long as the final deal has an amnesty clause to get Roy's contract off the cap somehow

Does a lockout year count as one of Nate's 2 years on his extention?

Actually, I think the new coaching CBA will give you amnesty. He still gets paid, but it comes off our books and we get a coaching roster spot!

Yep. We'd lose the last bit of real productivity from Camby and Miller, but the long rest would benefit a lot of our players.

Camby after the injury did not look good at all - his offense is nonexistent and we need at least a semblance of a threat there to take some pressure off LMA. I'd sent our pick and Miller to Denver for Felton - I think Felton is about as good as we can do and he's 8 yrs or so younger than Miller.
