What are you doing with your life?If you're going to college, what college, and what are you studying. If not, what are you doing...working, army, just taking a break...etc.---I'm go to Wayne State University in Downtown Detroit...I'm doing Pre-med right now, and I'm majoring in Biology. It's a great University, the campus is awesome since its right in the middle of Detroit...It's very open, I have everything available to me.
I'm attending the University of Texas at Austin, and majoring in business. I haven't really decided what I want to do within the business school, but right now I'm leaning towards MIS (Management Information Systems). Our MIS program is the #3 program in the entire country, and the average starting salary for recent MIS graduates from UT-Austin is between $80,000 and $90,000 a year... or so they say.
I go to school full time at Baker College, it's a career school and I'm in the Pharmacy Technician program. I'm actually done with all my actual pharmacy classes and passed the nation certification exam in July, but decided to go ahead and get my Associate's. I'm also working part time to pay back student loans and hopefully getting ready to start my internship at one of the hospitals here. After I finish up at Baker I'm looking at going to either Ferris State(Pharm D) or Michigan State(Nursing) while working as a Pharmacy Tech.
I go to texas a&m university at kingsvilleright now my major is education, but it's boring the hell out of me, so I think I'm gonna change it to criminology and then just be a police officer.......I wouldn't be surprised if I drop out and just go take the physical at our police station so they can pay for me to go to the police academy......but hopefully I'll stay interested long enough to get my degree
I go to NYC College of tech for Advertising and Web Design. I work part time at a French pastry shop n freelance. Tryin to get into the stockmarket though.
I go to Fox Valley Technical College (In Wisconsin). I'm majoring in Criminal Justice and the reason I decided to go to FVTC was because they have one of the top three Criminal Justice programs in the United States. We train United States Secret Service and we have FBI training. I'm currently in my 2nd year and in my 3rd semester. It's a 2 year program and I'm going to have to take a 5th semester. I'm planning on graduating next December. As soon as I graduate I plan on getting a job in corrections around the area. I might also take a security job at the hospital my mom works at and use that to pay for my Bachelors degree (Unidecided in which college I'm getting my 4-year at, Concordia or Oshkosh). What I really want to do is start my career working in corrections or take a part time patrol job. It's all up in the air right now. I really love college, I love all the guys in my program, they make class enjoyable. All my teachers are amazing. FVTC is only 7 miles from my house so it's close and I still get to be close with my family. Other than college I work part time at a restuarant. It's all right, everyone likes me, I have a good time. My manager just promoted me as a trainer so I work more with new people instead of doing the grunt work.
I'm not in college yet, but I already have some pretty big plans. earlier, I thought I would be majoring in print journalism, but then I realized that'd be a hard job for me with not too many rewards, so I started looking at the business side of the league. so right now, my top 3 schools are: Southern Methodist, Boston University, maybe Syracuse. My first choice is SMU to major in business/marketing. over the summer I'll try to get an internship with the mavericks, or if I come home one with the spurs. if I end up going to BU, I'll try an internship with the Cs. I'm an ideas guy, so I think marketing is the right place for me.
The chances of that are slimmer than the Cheick Samb. But good luck with that. I would love to get into an organization with any NBA team. You need connections for that too.

It's not that difficult to get a job within a sport organization, unless you mean as a GM or something of that nature. There are a few sports teams and sports agencies that recruit business majors here on campus at UT-Austin.
I currently attend Texas A&M University. I'm a Kinesiology major. It's not all playing sports and stupid sh*t like people make it out to be. It's a lot of science and crap like that. Yeah, it's great.Anyway, I don't know what I want to do with it. I might be a trainer, coach, therapist, I don't know what.I agree with you avoiding journalism, dogma. I've heard nothing good about it. People tell you what to write and you do it. Meh.
well, that and there aren't alot of successful writers. plus, I have a problem with making my articles long enough. I think marketing is the right area for me.
Damn BigMo.. im sure texas is where the parties are atI will be entering the University of Arizona as a freshman in fall 2007. Along with me, I will bring jerryd bayless, one of the best basketball recruits in my class, so Arizona will be going to the final four my freshman year. In all seriousness, I will be majoring in accounting.

I'm going to Baylor University in Waco, Texas next year (my dream school...my whole family has attended Baylor) so I'll be majoring in Sports Sponorship & Sales. I have a guaranteed internship with one the following:San Antonio Spurs Dallas Mavericks Texas Rangers Dallas Stars Dallas Cowboys FC Dallas Houston Astros Houston Rockets Houston Texans Tennessee Titans San Francisco 49ers Chicago Bulls If all goes as planned, I'd like to intern with the Bulls even though Dallas is my favorite team. I think it would be an awesome experience to live in Chicago for a semester and take it all in. THEN...after I get my Bachelor's I want to IMMEDIATELY go back to Baylor to get my Master's in Sports Management. I've always wanted to be an agent, ever since I was a little kid. I don't know why, but it's just my major goal in life. THEN...after that's done I'm going to get my degree in Contract Law to reinforce my abilities. (Also from Baylor)

This one frat over here threw this costume party and they got Bone Thugs N' Harmony to come down and perform... it was f*cking crazy man.Oh yeah, accounting is a real bi*ch. I wanted to major in accounting, but after taking Accounting 311 this semester (required here for all business majors) I realized I would probably shoot myself in the head if I were in accountant. The bad thing is that I have to take Accounting 312 next semester as well as an introductory finance course.
