    A lot of Steelers Talk,
    A little Seahawks talk.

Everyone talks about Bettis and Rothlisburger a lot,
Seahawks still have the better offense.
Everyone talks about Detroit being Bettis' home town (Ooh, wow),
Alexander is the MVP (Which is much bigger)
On defense, LeBeau gets all the talk,
    Defensive MVP Tatupu does not.

It's all talk until the game is played on Sunday. The people that don't like the Steelers will be on the Seattle band-wagon, the people that don't like the AFC will be on the band-wagon, and everyone else will pick for and root for the Steelers.

But forgetting your allegance to either team whatever the circumstances are, the matchup leans towards Pittsburgh. It's an AFC heavy league right now just like it was an NFC heavy league in the 90's. Tougher competition, stronger schedules, just better overall.

I think it's ridiculous to say that Seattle is getting no respect at this point, but at the same time, everyone that's involved draws a line and then picks who they think will win. Is it because the Steelers are an East Coast team that they're getting the majority of the favoritism? Or is it because the analysts think that they are the better club? We can speculate all day, but I suspect we'll know come Sunday who the better team is.

I think the 2 go hand in hand. The anaylsts think they are a better club but let's face it the majority of them probably couldn't name half the players on the Seahawks. The seed has been planted into the Steeler's players for 2 weeks now that Seattle is the inferior team. On Sunday we'll see if they can block that out on the field. I for one think it will be a factor in how the game starts off. Pittsburgh's been great at getting off to an early lead. If the Seahawks can withstand the 1st wave then it's anybodies game. I predict a conservative gameplan from both coaches & as a result a low scoring affair.

I respect the Seahawks for being a good team. However, they had a much easier road to the Super Bowl than the Steelers. First, they play in the worst division in the NFL. Second, the AFC is much tougher than the NFC. I'm not going to bet against the Steelers when they just beat the one, two and three seeds, in the superior conference, on the road. In my eyes, the Steelers are playing the best football in the NFL right now. I just wish Joey Porter would shut up.

Sometimes I wonder what everyone else sees DD. I couldn't have said it any better, but I have been saying about the same thing over the past 2 weeks. Do I think Seattle has no chance? No. Bryant Gumble said yesterday on Inside the NFL (HBO) that there was no chance that Seattle would beat Pittsburgh on Sunday. I was stunned... because we all know the saying "Any given Sunday". But I think the way the Steelers have been playing and based on the matchups, they've got a great opportunity to win another Championship. 3 more days, I just keep having to tell myself that. 3 more days.

That was never in question. I think all the love & spin are positively directed towards that team in western PA.

If there is a conspiracy its that the Groundhog lives in western PA and is rooting for the Seahawks. After all, he saw his shadow and that means more winter. Winter means more precipitation and rain which is a form precipitation is what happens in the Pacific NW this time of year

The only thing that photo shows is a guy forcing a terrible towel on the poor varmint. Call PETA. Hurry!

I hope if the Steelers lose their fans don't drive angry on the railroad tracks.
