He was great, but I'm sure more than half the members here don't know who he is. Well, he's an old school big man overshadowed by Russell and Chamberlain. RIP Arizin

This guy was like the first player to make the jump-shot part of his game. He is the ultimate old-school basketball workaholic. He didn't make his high school basketball team, yet he still made the game what it is as we know it.

The next season he was the allstar game MVP and on the all-nba first team and led the league in FG%, ppg, FTM, FTA, Minutes, FGA, FGM, Games played, while staying in the top ten in FT% and Rebounds. He went on to make three all-nba first teams (one second team), ten allstar appearances (every season of his career), and in 1955 he teamed up with neil johnston to win a championship. He was a truly dominant force who is often overlooked when remembering fifties greats.

This guy was great, he was a hall of fam eplayer, who helped revolutionize the game. Like mentioned above he was referred as Jumping Joe because he was the first person to use a jumpshot completely, and also because he was able to hang in the air more than anyother player during his time. He played with Wilt, and they could have been a great team had it not been for the Lakers. He always said that winning was always better than loosing, and that winning and playing like crap was better than loosing and playing well, because winning erased all those errors, which is something I completely agree with.Altough many may not know him, the game is the way it is today because of him.
