Yinka Dare was 14th player picked in the 1994 NBA draft.
A medical examiner determined that Dare, pronounced dead Friday at Englewood Hospital after being rushed to the emergency room, had a heart attack due to an arrhythmia condition that was discovered when he was in college at George Washington.

Yeah, I heard that last night on NBATV, but he was always pretty big.and he got bigger thru the years. Not 100% sure if that had any thing to do with his heart attack. But like you said RIP Yinka Dare

I remember him as a pretty good player who performed well when given the minutes. Sad sad news for the basketball world.

    RIP Yinka.

Oh man, I always get choked up upon reading news like this. So many deaths occur in Basketball. So many people died young, Petrovich and this fellow, I hadn't heard of him till my Father talked about him.

What a way to go and young to boot. My thoughts and prayers go to his family, I hope he's gone to a better place. May he R.I.P., my condolences to Bobby Phils, Dave DeBusschere, Wilt and Pistol Pete as well as any other of the players whom have died within the Basketball time eras.
