The SaberCats today announced DB Trestin George (5-9, 185) has rejoined the SaberCats for the 2011 season.

"Trestin is one of the most versatile players I've ever had the opportunity to coach," said Owner/Head Coach Darren Arbet. "He was a playmaker for us from 2007-08 and I'm looking forward to him bringing that same explosiveness to our team this season."

Originally a member of the 2007 championship team, George proved to be one of the most dynamic returners in the league with a 23.6 return average on 37 returns including two kickoffs returned for touchdowns, while playing at defensive back. He played in five games for San Jose during the 2008 season.

A starter at San Jose State, George played both ways for the Spartans and was able to score a touchdown in five different ways during his time in college (rushing, receiving, kickoff return, interception return and punt return).

A native of Berkeley, CA, George attended Saint Mary's (CA) High School.
