Forrest Griffin is the latest fighter to take advantage of the therapeutic usage exemption for testosterone replacement therapy, adding to a growing list of seemingly healthy athletes using the exemption to pop their testosterone to epitestosterone ratios to six times the average (1:1) ratio. Griffin, 33, joins a growing array of mostly over-30 fighters including Chael Sonnen, Dan Henderson, and Frank Mir. Tito Ortiz, in his own unique way, has warned of an "epidemic" of TRT usage in MMA. Does seem like one is coming.

I think all fighters should be able to do any drug they choose to enhance their performance. And it should all be public record.

I would rather see good fights, baseball players hitting 75 home runs and stuff like that, then what I am seeing today in sports.

I don't agree with you but until the UFC figures out what their rules are going to be and how to enforce them the whole deal is a bit of a gong show.

May I ask... why not agree? Not trying to be a forum fighter, just honestly wondering why not allow PEDs?

I would like to see MMA treated as the legitimate sport it is rather than human dogfighting. PRIDE walked the line in terms of PED's and produced some good fights but it cost fighters like Gary Goodridge their brains.

I don't want to see PED's in any sport but there is a marked difference between a non-contact sport like baseball and hand-to-hand combat in MMA and other martial arts.
