http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...efends_tinsley/ <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Pacers' center Jeff Foster defended teammate Jamaal Tinsley to the media yesterday, showing why many Indiana fans call him "Feisty." "I spent three hours the other night defending Jamaal to people,'' said Jeff Foster, who was here when the building was filled and vibrant. "I don't necessarily know what happened (at the nightclub), but I know he wasn't involved. I just don't feel like, with the fans or the media, that we're getting the benefit of the doubt. There's supposed to be due process, but whatever we do, we're guilty. "What happens if everybody is exonerated, there are no charges, nothing? Will that be covered as zealously as the police report was?''</div> It's great that he's defending him, that's fine. But come on, Jeff, it's not like Jamaal is necessarily a role model. He was also involved in the scuffle with Stephen Jackson a couple months ago and had guns and weed in HIS car. Also, if you weren't there, how would you know if he was involved in the fight or not? Taking his word for it? The same guy that has been involved in both of the last 2 Pacers night spot incidents? Give me a break.
Jeff Foster is the kind of guy where if you're on his side, he's got your back. But there's definetley no reason he should be supporting Jamaal Tinsley. I mean, it's a nice gesture, but Jamaal Tinsley's mistakes are his only.
