We all saw towards the end of the year last year that Foster has proven his skills. Eventhough he might not start the begining of the season. I believe he'll get a whole lot more touches this year, maybe even the starting job towards the last 8. All in all Panthers have two solid backs to choose from. This team may not be a fluke after all.
Davis all the way. Foster has skills but didn't prove he could carry the load when davis was hurt last season and had three games in the second half with 17,21,22 carries and avg. 3.6 ypc vs Det but only 2.5 a carry against the Giants and Tampa. He could start and maybe he'd get better as the season went along but he didn't exactly blow up when he got the bulk of the carries.
At this point, Davis is considered on the back end of his career and Foster is considering up and coming. I think both will get a fair share of action this year, but I would guess Davis will continue to start unless he has showing some slipping.
cowboy, you are correct...if anything, fox has shown that he will put in the person that will do the job...davis is the man, but if he isn't getting the job done, foster will be jumping in to take his place
